This documentary was shown on BBC Four recently. The programme captures the risks and total lack of safety in Grand Prix racing in the 1960s and 1970s. The film is really informative but there are some quite shocking scenes. The documentary shows how attitudes differed towards crowd and driver safety as well as vehicle design and testing when contrasted to Formula One today.
